Former Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has become Nottingham Forest manager, and could look to Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah as his first signing at the City Ground.
Chalobah has been strongly linked with an exit from Stamford Bridge this summer, with a move to Italy being seen up to now as the most likely outcome.
Cesc Fabregas’ Como are very keen on the English defender, an opportunity which would allow him to play in the Champions League next season.

Oliver Glasner could look to sign Trevoh Chalobah for Nottingham Forest
However, there has been long-term Premier League interest in the centre-back, with the Blues notably open to parting ways with him to cash in on an academy graduate.
Palace were one of the sides keen to bring in Chalobah after his successful loan spell there, and Glasner was a notable fan of his when he was in his side.

Forest will need signings after losing top player Elliot Anderson already this summer, and the addition of the England international would certainly be a boost to their starting side.
The Blues are looking for a mass overhaul at the back, including trying to sign Chalobah’s former Palace teammate Maxence Lacroix.
This comes from new manager Xabi Alonso, who reportedly made it clear in negotiations with the club he wanted two new centre-backs this summer.
Who will be a bigger success – Enzo Maresca or Xabi Alonso? 🤔
City have confirmed Maresca will replace Guardiola.
Glasner wanted to sign Chalobah permanently at Crystal Palace
The new Forest boss actually wanted to sign Chalobah permanently when he was on loan at Selhurst Park.
He told The Metro: “If all parties want to have a deal, and agree, it will happen. He’s doing really well for us and we were very consistent in our defensive line.
“Trevoh has now scored three goals but we always say that is extra for a defender. He has three, Lacroix has one, Guehi has two.
“Add Daniel Munoz and we have eight from our back-five. This is 40 per cent of the goals we scored and it’s very important that we have defenders who can score goals.”
Chalobah has had plenty of chances to succeed at Stamford Bridge, and remains a player who has not guaranteed a starting place in the side, and one many supporters would be open to see leaving this summer.
