Pressure is beginning to rise on current Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca despite being in just his first season at Stamford Bridge.
The Italian got off to a flying start in the Premier League and Conference League, and a number of his peers were quick to notice his promise.
Former Blues boss Maurizio Sarri has tipped Maresca to become one of the best coaches in Europe already, however recent form has left everyone a little concerned with Chelsea’s prospects this season.
The Blues have dropped out of the top four, and while Maresca has insisted Champions League was not his target for this year, supporters will soon become frustrated if they are not amongst Europe’s elite again next season.
Chelsea chiefs are reportedly sticking by Maresca despite their poor run that has seen them pick up just two wins in their last nine league games.

Liam Rosenior could be perfect Enzo Maresca replacement at Chelsea
However, there will no doubt be some figures at the club who are keeping their eye on other head coaches if they do feel the need to make a change.
They will not need to look too far to see the extremely promising start to life Liam Rosenior has made at Strasbourg, a club also owned by BlueCo.
There is clearly already some faith in the Englishman from the club, with him trusted to play a key role in the development of one of Chelsea’s most promising players.
Andrey Santos is currently in his second loan at the Ligue 1 club, and has come on leaps and bounds to be one of the most promising young midfielders in Europe.
Rosenior has already predicted an ‘outstanding’ future for Santos, and there may be no one better to continue his development at Stamford Bridge than his current coach.
He seems to have the respect and attention of his entire squad too. A recent clip posted by the Strasbourg Twitter account shows them hanging on to his every word in a post-match debrief.

Liam Rosenior compared to Arsene Wenger
Despite only being at the start of his managerial career, Rosenior has already been compared to one of the best coaches in modern history.
Ray Parlour previously compared Rosenior to former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger in the way he manages the players.
He said via HullLive: “You’ve got to have a presence as a manager, and you’ve also got to do the best for the players, and Liam will want the best for the players. Arsene Wenger was always like that, what we used to do in mid-week training was so important to him in preparing for the game on the weekend, and I think Liam will be exactly the same at Hull.”
Chelsea chiefs will be desperate not to have to replace their manager again after short stints for Graham Potter and Mauricio Pochettino, however if required Rosenior is showing signs he could be the perfect replacement.
