Chelsea are one of several top European clubs who are currently being linked with Dani Olmo.
With Barcelona struggling to register Dani Olmo for the second half of the season, the attacking midfielder could leave the club this month. Stamford Bridge has been touted as one potential destination.
It is being reported that Olmo has already been the subject of an enquiry from Chelsea, who were thought to have had an interest in him before his move to Barcelona last summer.
If the Blues do manage to land the 26-year-old, here are three ways that Enzo Maresca could use him.

Dani Olmo as a No.10
Olmo’s natural position is the No.10 role, which makes sense. The Spaniard has an eye for goal.
This season, Olmo has scored five times in 11 La Liga appearances. He also netted three goals at Euro 2024, which was the best tally in that amazing Spain squad, and registered two assists.
Olmo had an average of 2.8 shots per game during the tournament, according to WhoScored, showing just how much he likes to try and test the goalkeeper.
The only problem is Cole Palmer, who currently occupies the No.10 role at Chelsea. Maresca would perhaps have to move him to the right to accommodate Olmo.
On the left
Alternatively, Palmer could remain in the middle, while Olmo starts on the left. The Spain international has played down both flanks in his career.
Being right-footed and with his goal threat, though, starting Olmo at left wing would probably be the way to go and the most likely outcome if he did join Chelsea.
Moving into that left half-space where he can shoot or try to create chances, Olmo could be excellent there.
It would see Jadon Sancho have to settle for the bench. However, Chelsea are happy with Sancho right now.
In midfield against low blocks
Low blocks are starting to become a bit of a problem for Chelsea again. For example, Maresca’s men could not break down Everton in their 0-0 draw at Goodison Park last month.
Of course, not every Premier League team can defend as well as a Sean Dyche side. Whatever the case, using an attack-minded player like Olmo a bit deeper could really help Chelsea in such games.
The former RB Leipzig man has a little bit of experience playing there, so it could be an experiment worth trying out. A lot still needs to happen, though, if Chelsea are to sign Olmo.
