It is looking more than likely that Liam Rosenior is going to be named the new permanent Chelsea manager after Enzo Maresca’s departure.
Rosenior could be offered the Chelsea job this weekend after already taking charge of Strasbourg’s draw against Nice on Saturday.
Andrey Santos is certainly a player who would benefit from his hiring, given the fact he captained the Ligue 1 side on numerous occasions under him during his loan spell there.
Liam Rosenior set to be announced as Enzo Maresca replacement ⌛
The Brazil international has struggled to break into the starting side this season ahead of Moises Caicedo or Enzo Fernandez, and could really benefit from the change of head coach.

Liam Delap has already starred under Liam Rosenior
Liam Delap is another Chelsea player who has experience featuring under Rosenior, with that coming during a loan spell in the EFL with Hull City.
The striker scored eight goals and assisted another four in 32 games under the English manager, a rate of scoring he would certainly take after his start at Stamford Bridge.
Delap is yet to score in the Premier League since his move from Ipswich Town, with his solitary two strikes coming in the Club World Cup and the Champions League.
Quite the difference in managerial records for Chelsea vs City…
It has already been reported that there are internal concerns about Delap amongst chiefs at the club, given his poor start to life in West London.
Injuries have certainly played their part, but a change at the helm could come at the perfect time for a striker who is desperate for goals.

Rosenior is a massive fan of Delap
After working with the Manchester City loanee at the time, Rosenior was full of praise for the talent Delap had at his disposal.
He told Hull Live: “He’s (Delap) making a difference. His goal is special, he’s a special, special talent. Aaron’s goal is special because he’s a special, special talent.
“I think Liam’s consistency is improving as well. He’s getting better and better and better in his time with us and he’s going to be a huge threat for us for the rest of the season. He can play anywhere on the pitch, he’s that good. He’s naturally a number nine. He’s a number nine with a lot of technical and physical capabilities and speed.
“For him to play out on the side, sometimes it’s just going to improve his game. I think he’s what, 20 years old? It’s scary, his potential and ability and hopefully, I get the chance to work with him a lot longer than the next few months.”
There are not too many choices for the incoming manager regarding who will play in the number nine role, and Rosenior will need Delap to deliver to give him the best chance of succeeding.
