Chelsea fans wax lyrical about Hall

A selection of Chelsea supporters on social media applauded Hall after his performance at youth level this week.

The 17-year-old midfielder partnered Charlie Webster in the centre of the park, with the duo two exciting emerging talents to keep an eye on.

He played 116 minutes before being withdrawn, which was quite the achievement given the intensity of his schedule recently.

Hall made his first-team debut in the recent FA Cup victory over Chesterfield, winning man of the match in the process.

The left-footer, who’s received praise from Callum Hudson-Odoi, didn’t look out of place when stepping into the senior fold with Thomas Tuchel’s group.

He performed yesterday in his preferred role as a central midfielder, but showed his versatility and maturity at such a young age to make his senior Chelsea debut out of position. It was a totally dominant display from him as a left-sided centre-back against Chesterfield.
