A section of Crystal Palace supporters on social media have been gracious in their praise for on-loan Chelsea attacker Armando Broja.
The Albanian international netted against Palace for Southampton during yesterday’s Premier League encounter at Selhurst Park.
Story of the fixture
Patrick Vieira’s side took an early lead after 120 seconds, only to be pegged back by a James Ward-Prowse freekick 30 minutes later.
Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men then doubled their tally almost instantly thanks to a dangerous, dipping drive from Broja.

Six times now the 20-year-old has scored for the Saints since moving from Stamford Bridge over the summer.
He is a hit with the Southampton faithful, but also clearly a likable figure amongst a portion of the Palace fans.
Here is their reaction to Broja’s brilliant effort last night on Twitter:
Broja the bright spark for Southampton
Perhaps followers of Palace took kindly Broja because of what they are missing in their own team.
Vieira’s top scorers in the league are Chelsea loanee Conor Gallagher (six) and Wilfred Zaha (five).
Christian Benteke and Odsonne Edouard have four and three respectively.
Broja also has four in the top flight, but with four fewer appearances than Benteke.
A consistent centre-forward like the Cobham academy scholar would surely push the Eagles further up the table.

Luckily for Hasenhuttl, he is currently in possession of such a crucial weapon.
If the Southampton manager can keep his striker fit and firing, then the club will avoid the relegation sinkhole.
