A section of Chelsea supporters have demanded that Thomas Tuchel start Christian Pulisic against Leicester City this weekend.
Pulisic hasn’t begun a game for the Blues since their Premier League opening weekend win at home to Crystal Palace.
Christian back in the Chelsea fold
After contracting covid and enduring ankle damage whilst away on international duty, the 23-year-old’s club appearance record for the season stands at just four.
Half of those have arrived in Chelsea’s last two matches, both times coming off the bench as a late substitute.

He has also featured twice for the United States since returning from injury.
Despite Pulisic still being in recovery mode, a slice of the Stamford Bridge contingent believed it was time to throw Pulisic in from the first whistle though.
And where better a place to start (pardon the pun) than an early Saturday kick-off away to Leicester?
Here’s what Blues fans had to say on Twitter:
Picks in front of Pulisic
The likelihood of Pulisic starting his first Chelsea game for three months is extremely slim.
Tuchel has a plethora of other attacking talent to use instead of the anointment-filled American.
Mason Mount is back from dental surgery, Callum Hudson-Odoi’s run in the side needs recognition and Kai Havertz continues to score in place of Romelu Lukaku.
Then there’s Hakim Ziyech, who netted the Blues’ winner in their latest Champions League win over Malmo.

However, the Chelsea coach has been known to spring a few surprises when naming his initial 11.
Who says Pulisic couldn’t play at least the opening 45 minutes and a little extra after the interval?
It’s certainly an option that could be explored at the King Power in under two days’ time.
