Chelsea player Armando Broja has been spotted with a possible injury problem during pre-season.
Photos have emerged online of the 20-year-old striker leaving pre-season training and wearing a protective boot on his left foot.
Blues fans may need to wait to see or hear something a little more concrete from the club itself, but the immediate sign does look a little worrying for those that have such high hopes for him this season.
He joined up late to the pre-season trip of the United States, jetting in with new signing Raheem Sterling, before training with Thomas Tuchel’s first-team group.
It would be a devastating blow if he now faces a period of time on the sidelines, though.

Armando Broja injury worry
There’s not much point right now speculating about the extent of Broja’s injury, but perhaps more will become clear from Tuchel when Chelsea play a pre-season game against Club America this Sunday.
The centre-forward’s future has actually been a hot topic of discussion so far this summer.
It’s been reported there’s been several meetings at the club to discuss whether to get rid or keep the youngster for the upcoming 2022/23 season.
He improved massively last year during a season-long loan at Premier League rivals Southampton. In addition, there’s definitely room for another striker in Tuchel’s squad considering Romelu Lukaku has rejoined Inter Milan on loan this campaign.
Will this injury scare have an impact on Broja’s immediate plans, though?

Squad depth
Chelsea definitely need two or three fresh faces few the door before the transfer window shuts to reinforce the playing squad.
If Broja faces a spell on the sidelines, a stronger case could be made to say the Blues need to sign a striker.
The defensive reinforcements that are required are obvious and well discussed, but the No.9 position is an intriguing area.
