RB Leipzig have provided Chelsea fans with some extra positivity about the eventual arrival of Christopher Nkunku.
Nkunku is set to move to Stamford Bridge in the summer, after the two clubs agreed for the transfer to go ahead once the campaign had concluded.
Leipzig were obviously reluctant to let their top scorer leave mid-season with still so much to play for.

However, the Bundesliga side haven’t been able to call upon the forward since the start of the World Cup.
The 25-year-old jetted off to Qatar with the France national squad in November, off the back of seven goals in seven club games.
This excellent domestic form came to a sudden and sad halt ahead of the global tournament.
Christopher Nkunku nears his move to Chelsea
A week before Didier Deschamps’ side embarked upon retaining their crown, Nkunku suffered damage in his knee in training.
He was ruled out of the competition completely and was forced to head back to Germany prematurely.

There hasn’t yet been a definitive date for his return, but the recent update on his recovery is encouraging.
Yesterday, Leipzig uploaded a few photos and videos to their Instagram page of Nkunku on the mend.
He can be seen on an exercise bike, stretching in the gym and making some explosive movements, all with a smile on his face.
Whilst the attacker might not be in competitive action for a while still, the signs are certainly reassuring.
Especially from a Chelsea perspective, as they might obtain Nkunku at his peak physical fitness at the end of the term.
