Anthony Hudson was full of praise for Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic after his impressive performance for the United States.

Anthony Hudson, who’s the interim head coach for the United States, watched his side thrash Grenada 7-1 over the weekend.

Christian Pulisic delivered a fantastic international display for his country, scoring once and assisting twice.

The 24-year-old Chelsea attacker received widespread praise in the national media after his latest U.S. cap, too.

Hudson singled out Pulisic for huge credit following his individual display against Grenada.

“I’m amazed by Christian. Through this last cycle and leading up to this camp, and then coming into camp, I just can’t speak highly enough of the character of this person, who not only is a talented player, but it’s someone, I can assure you, he just absolutely loves playing for his country,” Hudson said, as quoted by MLS Soccer.

“Great character, loves playing for his country, is inspiring to the rest of the group. And I think you saw that in his performance. I can’t remember the amount of times he puts his body on the line. For such a big player, plays at a big club, has a huge value on him. And we go to places like this and he has no problem just giving absolutely everything he has. So he is an inspiration to the rest of the group for sure.”

It’s obvious that Pulisic loves representing his country.

The £58million man is one of so many high-profile individuals in the dressing room at Stamford Bridge. In contrast, he’s a real talisman at international level.

We would love to see him take some momentum from the international break into his club form when he returns to West London.

We do expect a major overhaul in the squad this summer with plenty of sales, but Pulisic does have a few months still to play his way into Graham Potter’s plans.
