Pundit Steven Gerrard has claimed he is not impressed by Mykhailo Mudryk after yesterday’s game against England.
Working for Channel 4 on the game, the former Liverpool player thought the Chelsea man could have done a lot better to stop Bukayo Saka’s cross to Harry Kane to open the scoring.
The Three Lions made it a perfect international break after picking up a 2-0 win over their opponents last night. Ben Chilwell completed a strong 90 minutes for Gareth Southgate’s side.

He was up against Blues teammate Mudryk, who carried the hopes of his nation on his shoulders when it came to launching any Ukraine attacks.
It seemed as if that responsibility weighed heavily on him, with him struggling to have any real impact on the game on the left.
This will have come as a big disappointment to the 22-year-old, with him being given a rare chance to impress as a starter in recent months.
Gerrard not impressed by Mudryk
Despite impressing against Leicester City when he was thrown in from the off, he has faced a number of games without even getting off the bench at Stamford Bridge.
However, he was unable to boost his case for minutes at Wembley last night. He was also potentially at fault for the opener for Kane.
The Blue allowed Saka to cross on his strong foot, with the Tottenham man making no mistake at the back post.

Gerrard was unimpressed by the defending on display, saying the Ukraine manager will be extremely frustrated with his play.
He said: “You’d be really disappointed if you were the coach from Mudryk. He’s still learning the game, but you need to keep Saka on his right-foot.”
While he will be working hard when he returns to the club, a start against Aston Villa on Saturday looks unlikely based on recent form and selections by Graham Potter.
