Chelsea fans didn’t have much to shout about over the 90 minutes as it wasn’t the best of performances, but supporters did make one interesting point about Moises Caicedo.

Frank Lampard thought Malo Gusto did well at times, but he was taken off at half-time after failing to offer much going forward in his advanced role.
It was Moises Caicedo who was awarded the Man of the Match award and supporters had an interesting point to make about the way he played against Manchester United.

Moises Caicedo’s performance in numbers against Man United
Moises Caicedo is in a bit of a purple patch at the moment at Chelsea, as fans are finally starting to see him repay them for the hefty fee paid to bring him here.
He played the full 90 minutes at Old Trafford. His display featured a goal, 60 touches of the ball, a passing accuracy of 84%, one key pass, completed two of his three long balls, completed two of his dribbles, won nine duels, was fouled three times, made two clearances, three tackles and one interception (SofaScore).
The midfielder was everywhere, constantly breaking up play and pressing the Manchester United players, as well as tracking back to put in key tackles in the defensive third.
Darren Bent stated just over a week ago that he really likes the Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia pivot, and it worked well in the first-half today before breaking down in the second-half.

Many Chelsea fans, when speaking on X, all said the same thing about Brennan Johnson.
