Pedro Neto made his first Premier League start for Chelsea against Crystal Palace earlier.
Pedro Neto was Chelsea‘s most expensive signing this summer, joining from Wolverhampton Wanderers in a £54m deal.
While the 24-year-old arrived to strengthen the Blues out wide, Raheem Sterling departed Stamford Bridge on deadline day.
Sterling thought he was a good fit for Enzo Maresca, but the Italian clearly thought otherwise after allowing him to join London rivals Arsenal.

Chelsea fans not impressed with Pedro Neto’s performance against Crystal Palace
Neto did not have his best game in the London derby at Stamford Bridge, with the winger being substituted around the hour mark for compatriot Joao Felix.
Chelsea supporters took to X to express that, though they will not be too concerned just yet since it is early days.
One Chelsea fan said: “Neto doesn’t look sharp today.”
Another said: “Pedro Neto struggles but it’s understandable. Palmer plays so much to the right, that creates space for Madueke.”
And finally, one Chelsea supporter posted: “Neto is a fraud. Play Mudryk!”
Former Blues striker Tony Cascarino is expecting big things from Neto following his move to Chelsea.
Pedro Neto will improve at Chelsea
Neto has not been at Chelsea for too long and managed to make an impact last weekend when he came off the bench to provide an assist against his former side.
Ultimately, Chelsea fans are likely to see much better days from Neto in the future. But even without the Portuguese at his best, Enzo Maresca‘s team still probably had enough to beat Palace earlier.
Cole Palmer, Noni Madueke and Nicolas Jackson all started. Madueke scored a hat-trick last weekend, but the 22-year-old could not make a similar kind of impact against Oliver Glasner’s men.
With the game finishing 1-1, Chelsea head into the international break with four points out of nine.
Not the worst start to the season, but they could obviously be doing much better. When club football returns, Maresca’s side will travel to the Vitality Stadium to take on Bournemouth. If Neto starts that match, Chelsea fans will be hoping to see him make more of an impact.
