Enzo Maresca admitted that the performance of one Chelsea player did disappoint him on Sunday against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Overall, it was a fantastic Sunday for everyone associated with Chelsea. The Blues recorded an emphatic 6-2 victory away to Wolves in the weekend’s Premier League fixture.
Noni Madueke was the headline act for the visitors at Molineux Stadium with his remarkable hat-trick. Nicolas Jackson, Cole Palmer and Joao Felix got on the scoresheet, too.
Enzo Maresca set a Premier League record on Sunday, becoming the first Premier League manager in history to see his side score six times in their first away match. Let’s hope there’s a lot more of that to come with all the attacking talent in the squad.

Enzo Maresca criticises Mykhailo Mudryk
Chelsea head coach Maresca did criticise Mykhailo Mudryk for his individual display on Sunday versus Wolves.
The 23-year-old speedster started the game before an early substitution at half-time. Unfortunately, the left-winger couldn’t make the desired impact on the match with his work on the ball.
When asked about Mudryk’s substitution in his post-match press conference, Maresca said via Football London: “Because I was not happy. In some moments we can manage some situations better. He was working hard off the ball but on the ball, I expect a bit more quality from Misha.
“He had some good moments today but the reason why was to change it and give Pedro [Neto] some minutes.”
Mykhailo Mudryk slipping down that pecking order
It was another big opportunity for Mudryk to impress after being handed a start against Wolves, but he did very little with that chance. Most importantly, his manager doesn’t sound too happy with his contribution.
Chelsea now have plenty of attacking options that look a serious threat in front of goal, but the Ukraine star is the opposite of that and lacks confidence with his end product.
FotMob data has provided the individual statistics from Mudryk’s display against Wolves:
