Chelsea are still firmly in the picture for Champions League qualification after beating Everton.
On Saturday afternoon, Chelsea secured a vital 1-0 win at home to Everton in the Premier League, which means they’re now up to fifth position in the division table.
There were a number of impressive performances from Chelsea players during the weekend success over Everton. Next, the Blues face Djurgardens in the Conference League semi-final first leg before hosting Liverpool in the league next Sunday.
We’ve picked out our four biggest winners from the victory over Everton…

Romeo Lavia
Romeo Lavia came back against Everton for his first performance since mid-March and instantly reminded everyone of how much individual ability he possesses.
The 21-year-old Belgian ace was named in the starting line-up, slotting into his favoured defensive midfield position.
Both in and out of possession, Lavia was instrumental during his 67 minutes on the pitch. It’s perhaps no surprise that Everton gained more control late on once he was removed, but the decision made sense as he’s eased back from yet another injury.
It’s a huge win for Chelsea and Lavia himself that he got through a match unscathed. Hopefully, he can now play an integral role in this final stretch of the season.
It’s quite telling that Romeo Lavia got a standing ovation from the Stamford Bridge crowd when he was substituted off against Everton midway through the second period.
Nicolas Jackson
The most relieved player on the Chelsea team right now may be Nicolas Jackson, 23, who ended his goal drought of 13 games to net the match-winning goal against the Toffees.
He had not scored in 2025 leading into Saturday’s match. However, he took his goal with such authority as he smashed in a low finish from outside the box.
Jackson’s now up to 10 goals in 28 league appearances this season. If he can add a few more in the final four top-flight matches, it could mark a decent second campaign in West London.
He’s certainly a big winner from this weekend because striker’s usually take major confidence whenever they find the back of the net.

Robert Sanchez
In a campaign that has been extremely challenging for Robert Sanchez in Chelsea’s goal, he put in a season-best performance at home to Everton.
Everton gloveman Jordan Pickford praised Robert Sanchez after his display on Saturday.
While the 27-year-old Blues shot-stopper wasn’t the busiest, he had to provide a couple of outstanding interventions to keep his team ahead. This included a memorable late save from Dwight McNeil when he had to suddenly change momentum to parry a shot wide.
Sanchez desperately needed this kind of individual contribution to lift his confidence going into the next few matches.
Noni Madueke
Finally, Noni Madueke should feel like he was a big winner from the latest league match.
He proved during his performance that he can cause a real attacking threat from the left wing, something we rarely see from him.
The Englishman largely plays on the right wing, which allows him to cut infield on his favoured left foot. However, we saw him impact the match in a big way when playing as a left-winger.
Peter Crouch described Noni Madueke as “unplayable” after the Everton performance.
Even though Madueke couldn’t get a direct goal contribution, largely down to two immense saves from Pickford from a couple of his efforts on target, he’s proven a point to head coach Enzo Maresca.
