Peter Crouch raves about Noni Madueke after Chelsea win over Everton
Peter Crouch delivered special praise on Noni Madueke, 23, after his latest Premier League display at the weekend.
Even though the English attacker didn’t register a goal or assist, he was very lively on his fourth consecutive league start.
When discussing Chelsea’s Madueke after the Everton result, Crouch told TNT Sports: “I just feel like he can be unplayable at times… I think he can do it against anyone; for [Nathan] Patterson’s only second start of the season, it was a difficult one.
“He’s probably more comfortable on the right-hand side, but I don’t think it really matters which side he plays. I think maybe when he comes inside, the finishing could potentially be better on the other side. He showed that he can easily play there or anywhere across the front.”
Madueke was a significant attacking threat for the Blues in the Everton fixture.
The most intriguing thing is that he looked lively playing in a different position. While the England international usually plays as a right-winger, he operated on the left flank at the weekend.
Chelsea fans praised Noni Madueke’s performance against Everton, claiming that he really suited playing on the left wing.
The general pattern with Madueke is that he’s predominately left-footed and likes cutting infield from the right. He was attacking from a different angle in the Everton clash, though.
Madueke had two superb efforts at goal, both with his right foot, saved by top-class goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.

Noni Madueke is answering Enzo Maresca’s claim
Earlier in the season, Enzo Maresca admitted Noni Madueke can do more to help the Chelsea team.
The winger’s record of 10 goals and five assists across all competitions this campaign is a decent return.
Now, it’s all about whether he can take the next step in his game to become a world-class player. In fairness, the 23-year-old’s still got time on his side and we’re notice him improving as this campaign progresses.
To prove that Madueke’s really grown as a player, it’s time at the business end of the season to stand up and power the team to achieve their goals.
