Chelsea were dominant on the biggest stage of them all as they were crowned Club World Cup champions at the MetLife stadium.
The Blues beat PSG 3-0 in the final of the competition, with their first-half dominance the story of the game as far as Enzo Maresca’s side were concerned.
Cole Palmer was outstanding for Chelsea, scoring twice and assisting Joao Pedro, as the Champions League holders began to throw their toys out the pram.
Joao Neves was sent off late on, while things spilled over after the final whistle and Luis Enrique appeared to slap Pedro.

French media hugely impressed by Robert Sanchez in Chelsea’s Club World Cup win
After Chelsea’s brilliant attacking exploits in the first half, it was down to their defensive players to finish the job, and no one did their job better than Robert Sanchez.
The goalkeeper got a 10/10 on our player ratings for the game, and enjoyed easily his best performance since making the move to Stamford Bridge.
Even French media were left really impressed by the Spaniard, with him making a brilliant save to deny Ousmane Dembele early in the second half.
Le Parisien said: “After the break, Paris regained their composure, culminating in a huge save from Robert Sánchez, who finally found Ousmane Dembélé’s close-range effort (52nd minute).
“Obviously, it was impossible to come back into a game that had been played since the break and was tense until the end between the two teams, a sign of what was really at stake. Next season, Paris will have a new team to take out its frustrations on if it meets them again: this Chelsea, the club world champions.”
Sanchez has had his critics this season, however a performance of that magnitude should be enough to show how far he has come in the last few months.

Robert Sanchez wins individual Club World Cup trophy
As Chelsea were crowned Club World Cup champions, Sanchez’s individual performances were given the credit they deserve too.
Sanchez picked up the Golden Glove award, issued to the best goalkeeper at the competition, beating Gianluigi Donnarumma to the honour.
Chelsea have been linked with Donnarumma as reports over signing a new goalkeeper continue to swirl around.
However, with Sanchez’s performance in the final, it is hard to see how he can be replaced going into the new Premier League season.
