Chelsea were able to beat Newcastle United 2-1 on Sunday thanks to Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson.
The two attackers scored for Chelsea, but they are not the only ones who deserve credit for the Blues’ win.
Pedro Neto also put in a good performance after making only his third league start for Chelsea since joining the club from Wolverhampton Wanderers during the summer.
Many Chelsea fans were impressed with Neto after watching him return to Enzo Maresca‘s starting XI.

Pedro Neto was at risk of becoming a forgotten man
There was a lot excitement when Neto arrived at Stamford Bridge. He was Chelsea’s big signing, joining the club in a £54m deal.
However, that excitement quickly shifted to Jadon Sancho, who started his Chelsea career in excellent fashion.
The winger recorded three assists in his first three games and almost made Neto become a bit of a forgotten man.
But Neto reminded everyone of why Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali were willing to spend so much money on him after his performance against Newcastle.
Pedro Neto shone in Newcastle win
Neto was such a threat against Newcastle on Sunday with his pace, using it to get on the end of a terrific pass from Palmer before setting up Jackson for Chelsea’s opener.
He was the highest-rated Chelsea player on Sofascore on the day with a match rating of 7.9.
According to the same website, Neto also made three key passes, the most in his team. It was a similar story last Sunday as well, with Neto creating three opportunities at Anfield.
Former Chelsea striker Tony Cascarino spoke about Neto in August, saying: “Look, Neto is a fabulous talent who they brought in and who plays on that left side.”
Against Newcastle, it was not hard to see that. After going under the radar a bit following Sancho’s arrival from Manchester United, Neto has shown everyone why Chelsea decided to bring him in.
Having the likes of the Portugal international, Sancho and Palmer as attacking options could mean exciting times ahead at Stamford Bridge for Chelsea supporters.
