Pedro Neto made a rare Premier League start this season in Sunday’s match against Newcastle United, and many Chelsea fans on social media were saying the same thing about his performance.
Chelsea returned to winning ways in the Premier League by securing a 2-1 victory at home to Newcastle this weekend. As a result, they’ve temporarily moved up to fourth in the division table.
Nicolas Jackson opened the scoring for the hosts at Stamford Bridge after a superb team move before the Toon equalised through Alexander Isak in the 32nd minute.
Thankfully, the Blues came out with a spring in their step in the second-half, scoring through Cole Palmer quickly after the restart.

A selection of Chelsea supporters on social media were all super impressed by what they saw from Pedro Neto versus Newcastle.
Neto, who was making just his third league start of the season, was heavily involved for 90 minutes.
First of all, the Portuguese winger assisted Jackson’s opening goal with a great pass across goal. Neto accelerated into space to find Palmer’s through ball before teeing up his striker to break the deadlock.
The left-footed attacker went close to scoring himself in the second-half when his header hit the woodwork. Also, he was direct and in a fierce battle during the game with Newcastle right-back Tino Livramento.
