Several Chelsea players have been rewarded for the team’s win against Leeds United in the FA Cup semi-final on Sunday.
Unsurprisingly, Enzo Fernandez is gaining a lot of recognition for his performance at Wembley.
It was the midfielder who grabbed Chelsea’s only goal against Leeds as they went on to win 1-0. He is not the only player who caught the attention, though.
How clutch is Enzo Fernandez? We’re not going to be able to replace him…
Enzo Fernandez, Robert Sanchez, Joao Pedro, Tosin Adarabioyo, Malo Gusto and Alejandro Garnacho make WhoScored’s FA Cup Team of the Round
Five of Fernandez’s Chelsea teammates also made WhoScored’s Team of the Round for the FA Cup semi-finals.
They include Robert Sanchez, Joao Pedro, Tosin Adarabioyo, Malo Gusto and Alejandro Garnacho.
Garnacho’s name is a bit of a surprise, as his final ball was still lacking, though his performance was an improvement on his recent display against Manchester United.
What is less of a surprise is Fernandez earning an 8.27 rating, which is the highest WhoScored has handed out.

All in all, the majority of those names had really good games. In fact, without Sanchez, Chelsea probably would have lost.
After the match, interim manager Calum McFarlane hailed Sanchez’s display as “world-class”. The Spaniard made a couple of really good stops that saved Chelsea.
The star of the show, though, was obviously Fernandez, whom the club must try to keep next season.
DISCUSS: Sanchez should be Chelsea’s no.1 next season…
Calum McFarlane is a big fan.
Despite all of the speculation surrounding his future, they still could. It has been claimed that Fernandez could remain at Chelsea if the club meet a couple of his conditions.
He has been linked to both Manchester City and Real Madrid, and either club would be a step up for the Argentine. It remains to be seen, though, whether City, Real or anyone else will be willing to stump up the cash for Fernandez.
After costing Chelsea more than £100m, Fernandez is not going to come cheap. Chelsea will want their money back and will believe that the Argentina international is worth their asking price after his goalscoring exploits this term.
