Tosin Adarabioyo has been speaking following Chelsea’s 3-0 win against West Ham United on Saturday.

It was a good afternoon for Tosin Adarabioyo, who was making his first Premier League start as a Chelsea player.

The Blues went on to keep a clean sheet, while Nicolas Jackson and Cole Palmer ensured that the team’s attack did its job after they both got their names on the scoresheet.

Adarabioyo has now praised one of his teammates for making his job so much easier. Adarabioyo could prove to be a bargain for Chelsea, with the central defender having arrived at Stamford Bridge on a free transfer.

Tosin Adarabioyo grateful to be playing with Robert Sanchez

Last weekend, Robert Sanchez was pivotal in Chelsea’s win against Bournemouth, saving a first-half penalty.

In Saturday’s London derby, the goalkeeper was just as busy. He often came out of his goal to collect aerial balls, and Adarabioyo loved it.

Speaking to Chelsea’s official website about Sanchez after the game, Adarabioyo said: “Yeah, he’s huge. You can see he commits himself to come and collect a lot of balls. He just makes our job a lot easier.”

Before Chelsea’s 3-0 win at the London Stadium, Danny Murphy defended Sanchez, feeling that some of the criticism he gets is over the top.

Robert Sanchez’s performance against West Ham United

Right now, Sanchez is probably one of the in-form goalkeepers in the Premier League. Against West Ham, the £25m man showed so much authority.

According to Sofascore, Sanchez made three high claims and two punches. He also made seven saves to help Chelsea earn their second clean sheet in the Premier League this season.

In July, the Blues signed Filip Jorgensen from Villarreal. He will be aiming to become the team’s No.1, but if Sanchez maintains this form, then that will not happen.

Villarreal’s CEO Fernando Roig Negueroles recently discussed Jorgensen, claiming that the 22-year-old moved to Chelsea too early.

Jorgensen is likely to start Chelsea’s next game, which is a tie against Barrow in the third round of the Carabao Cup.
