Reports have claimed that the agent of one Chelsea player has now been awarded for his part in getting his client to Stamford Bridge.
According to the Liverpool Echo, Ali Barat, has been handed the Golden Agent Award for 2023 after his part in getting Moises Caicedo’s record-breaking deal over the line.
Caicedo was the highlight addition for Chelsea over the summer, however there were moments where it looked like it was in real jeopardy.

As the Blues slowly got closer to agreeing a fee with Brighton, Liverpool came in with a huge bid that was accepted by the Seagulls.
However, it quickly emerged that the Ecuador international was not interested in playing for Jurgen Klopp’s side, and instead would rather hold out for Chelsea.
He soon found his way to Stamford Bridge, signing a long-term deal with a wage of £150,000-a-week.
Caicedo agent to recieve award
Now, it has been claimed that his agent. Barat, will be recognised for his role in the most expensive British transfer in history.
While the 21-year-old has enjoyed a strong start to life as a Chelsea player, there definitely feels as if there is another level he can reach as he continues to get more comfortable with his surroundings.
He could only make the bench last weekend against Newcastle due to his international travels, and his absence was recognisable as the Blues were soundly beaten.
Lesley Ugochukwu was handed a start in his absence, although it felt as if he struggled with the magnitude of the opposition.
He will almost certainly be back in the starting side next weekend when the Blues take on his former side on Sunday in the Premier League.
