With all the superstars that are currently at Chelsea, it is no surprise that the international break frequently sees a plethora of players called up to represent their nations.

This was on show during the summer’s European Championship and Copa America, with a heap of Chelsea players involved.

Two Blues returned as champions, with both Marc Cucurella and Enzo Fernandez playing key roles in their nations respective victories.

Some of the younger players contracted to the club have also made big impacts on their national teams. Kendry Paez has already scored his first tournament goal for Ecuador at a senior level.

With Paez tipped for big things in his career, Chelsea added to that promise with the addition of Estevao Willian this summer.

Estevao Willian has good chance of Brazil call-up

The 17-year-old will not join up with the club until next summer, however it looks as if he is close to making the next big step in his career already.

According to UOL, Estevao has a ‘strong’ chance of being called up to the Brazil national team for the upcoming international fixtures.

David Ornstein has been told people see Estevao as a generational signing for Chelsea, and fans of Palmeiras believe that they have sold him for a far too cheap fee already.

If the attacker becomes a first team player straight away at Stamford Bridge, whoever is in charge of the club is going to have a serious issue fitting the array of talent into the squad.

The Blues have a plethora of talent in attacking areas right now, with some of them not even able to make the matchday squad for the opening game of this season.

One of those was Raheem Sterling, who doesn’t seem to have taken the news too well, with him releasing a statement asking for clarity on the situation.

Jamie Carragher is one pundit who was not impressed with Sterling for the timing of his announcement, with it causing an unneccesary issue for Enzo Maresca ahead of his first game as a Premier League manager.
