Mauricio Pochettino has now given his reaction to the fact that Chelsea players were booed off the pitch in their last game against Manchester United.
He claimed in his pre-match press conference that they need to accept that they will be criticised if they do not perform to the standards expected of them.
It was arguably the worst performance of the season on Wednesday when the Blues were beaten 2-1 at Old Trafford.

The scoreline was actually flattering for the Blues, who were under the cosh from the opening minutes when Robert Sanchez saved a penalty.
Despite Cole Palmer’s moment of brilliance in stoppage time of the first half, the Blues did not come out any stronger in the second half.
There were some real struggles from individuals out there on Wednesday, with a lot of them needing to up their game if the Blues are going to return to winning ways against Everton on Sunday.
Pochettino on fans booing
Pochettino has claimed that the response his players got from their travelling supporters was warranted on the day.
He said: “We cannot say nothing to the fans [after boos post-Man United defeat], they react how they feel. We cannot blame them. We need to accept if we are not playing well we are criticised by them. We need to accept that.”
Travelling supporters will be back in full force regardless on Sunday for the trip to Goodison Park, where they will face a spirited Everton side.
Sean Dyche’s club look hungry following their recent points deduction, and last night’s demolition of Newcastle United shows they are more than capable of taking down top teams.
A return to winning ways is imperative for Pochettino though, in order to not allow talk of pressure on his job to become prevalent.
