Chelsea star Thiago Silva has now taken to social media to share that he is missing one player the club sold during the last summer transfer window.
He took to Instagram to wish former Blue Mason Mount a happy birthday, perhaps reminiscing on better times he has had at Stamford Bridge.
Silva’s tenure at the club likely reached a new low when he was part of a side earlier this week that lost at the hands of Middlesbrough in the first leg of the EFL Cup semi-final.

The veteran was quick to apologise to supporters, which ended up neutralising a situation that had potential to get out of hand in the away end.
In just a few years at Chelsea, he has added the Champions League to his personal trophy cabinet, an honour that looked set to evade him in his illustrious career.
One player who was key in that run in 2021 was Mount, however fast forward just two years later and he is no longer with the club.
Silva sends Mount message
Yesterday saw the England international celebrate his 25th birthday, with some Chelsea players wishing him well.
Silva was one of those, who sent him a message to his former colleague alongside it on his Instagram story.
He said: “Happy Birthday bro, miss you!”
Mount is a player more than most who endured a rough 2023, with him featuring for two underperforming sides in Chelsea and Manchester United.
He actually failed to register a goal in the calendar year, something that would have been unimaginable for anyone who watched him during his prime years at Stamford Bridge.
Mount is close to returning from injury for his current side, although will have to wait a few more months before he gets his first opportunity to feature at Stamford Bridge again as an opposition player.
