One Chelsea player is now reportedly worth more on the transfer market than Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice.
In a study published by Football Observatory, Cole Palmer is rated at worth £90.5m, while his England teammate from across London is coming it at a figure about £1m lower.
Palmer has been a revolutionary figure at Stamford Bridge this season after his deadline day move from Manchester City.

He sits at the top of the charts for both goals and assists this season in the Premier League, and it doesn’t bare thinking about where the club would be if he hadn’t made the move to West London late in the summer.
Another player they were reportedly interested in signing was Rice, with it being clear to many that he was going to be leaving West Ham after their victory in the Europa Conference League final.
Chelsea looked for years as if they were the favourite for the deal, however they eventually ended up looking another direction when it came to a big-money central midfielder.
Palmer valued higher than Rice
At the start of 2023, they smashed their club-record fee to bring in Enzo Fernandez in the final hours of the January transfer window.
When they looked to find the perfect partner for him over the summer, they looked instead to Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia for big fees instead of Rice.
As players such as Christopher Nkunku return to full fitness, one certainty is that Palmer’s place in the team wont be going anywhere due to the seriously impressive form the 21-year-old is in.
He will be crucial in the upcoming two-legged EFL Cup semi-final against Middlesbrough, with them surely seeing that as a huge opportunity to win the first piece of silverware since Mauricio Pochettino took over the side.
