One Chelsea player has appeared to take to social media to praise one of Wednesday’s opponents after Manchester United defeated the Blues in the Premier League.
Ian Maatsen took to Instagram to praise midfielder Sofyan Amrabat after he put in a strong performance at Old Trafford a couple of days’ ago.
Maatsen will likely be an unhappy man at the moment after he was an unused substitute yet again during the defeat.

It looked as if he was about to come on in the second half, however this was happening when United took the lead through Scott McTominay, much to the dismay of Levi Colwill at the back post.
He was then seen putting his training bib back on, returning to the bench to not come on at all.
Amrabat meanwhile was certainly part of the midfield which came out on top on the night, with Enzo Fernandez enduring a rough evening from the outset.

The loanee has not set the world alight since he moved, however he put in arguably his best performance of the campaign against the Blues.
He seems to have impressed Maatsen too, with the Dutchman commenting a fire emoji on his post-game Instagram post.
It remains to be seen how this goes down with Chelsea fans, who will still be disappointed with the underwhelming manner of their defeat.
It does feel at least that the 21-year-old will be on the move when the transfer window opens again. He is still yet to start a game in the Premier League this season.
He was the subject of a number of offers over the summer, and has so far shown no willingness to sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge due to his lack of gametime.
