Armando Broja has started his pre-season preparations early as he aims to impress Mauricio Pochettino at Chelsea.
That is according to the Evening Standard.
So, what are the details involving Armando Broja at Chelsea? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
Well, the Albania international ruptured his cruciate ligament back in December during a friendly against Aston Villa.
It brought an abrupt end to Broja’s season, but he is now determined to make a success of the 2023/24 campaign under Pochettino.
The Evening Standard believe the Chelsea No.18 has now decided to travel to Portugal with the Under-21 side for their pre-season training camp, to give him a headstart before Pochettino begins first-team sessions at the beginning of July.

Broja is expected to have regained full fitness by the time Chelsea begin their pre-season tour of the United States, where the Blues will mainly be situated in Philadelphia.
The Evening Standard add that Chelsea have no intention of selling the 21-year-old striker this summer, and view him as part of the attacking department next season alongside Christopher Nkunku and the incoming Nicolas Jackson.
Broja could thrive under Pochettino at Chelsea
In our view, Pochettino could work wonders with Broja at Stamford Bridge.
The Argentine – who Fabrizio Romano believes is looking forward to coaching the Albania international – managed to develop Harry Kane into a superstar after teaming up with the Englishman at Spurs, when he was also just 21.

Broja boasts a similarly stocky build to Kane, and is also deceptively quick like the Tottenham talisman, so in terms of profile, there is no reason why he cannot base his game on the Spurs No.10 and thrive under Pochettino.
Hopefully, the Slough-born striker doesn’t suffer any heartbreaking injury setbacks during pre-season, and can make a real name for himself at Stamford Bridge next term.
