Chelsea defender Wesley Fofana has now dropped a major hint that he will be back on the pitch far earlier than many expected.
He liked an Instagram post from ‘TeamFofana3’ which suggested that he could be back in action before the end of this calendar year.
Fofana is one of the few players who is yet to make an appearance since Mauricio Pochettino took over as the manager at Stamford Bridge.

He suffered a serious knee injury during the early stages of pre-season, and this looked set to see him miss the majority of the upcoming campaign.
Injury luck has been terrible for the 22-year-old since he joined the club for a large fee. He has hardly been able to string together a run of games in the season and a bit he has been here.
There could be good news in the upcoming weeks though, with a fan page on Instagram relaying reports that he could return to action far earlier than many expected.
Fofana hints at early recovery
It gained a lot of weight though when Fofana’s official account liked the post, with him not looking to clarify any details on the length of time reported.
If the Frenchman does return before the end of the year, he would join a number of key players in making their returns at a crucial time of the season for Pochettino.
Romeo Lavia and Christopher Nkunku are two other big-money signings who have yet to feature yet since they joined the club over the summer.
However, both have been spotted back on the grass going into this international break, with it being claimed that they could be back in first team training in the next couple of weeks.
