Reports have claimed that one Chelsea midfielder has been diagnosed with a torn muscle.
According to All Nigeria Soccer, Lesley Ugochukwu’s injury has been confirmed, after he was put on the growing list of players with issues at Stamford Bridge.
Ugochukwu has been a regular in the matchday squad this season for Chelsea since his £23m summer transfer.

This made it all the more strange when he wasn’t seen in the squad at all for last weekend’s Premier League match against Brighton.
Ahead of last night’s game against Manchester United, the Frenchman became the 10th name to be added to the list of casualties alongside Noni Madueke.
Now, it has been confirmed the extent of his issue, with him being diagnosed with a muscle tear.

The report goes on to say that he should not be out for too much longer, however this is only if he doesn’t suffer a setback in his recovery.
Last night could have presented an opportunity for him to start in his biggest game yet as a Chelsea player.
However, Mauricio Pochettino was forced to go down a more attacking route, which seemed to be an issue for his side who were soundly beaten at Old Trafford last night.
Enzo Fernandez in particular struggled in the middle of the park, with him giving away a penalty in the opening
Manchester United were all out of sorts going into last night, however looked by far the better team on the night and came away with all three points.
It looks as if this Sunday is going to come too soon for Ugochukwu, meaning the Blues may need to revaluate if they want to take a more defensive approach to the upcoming game against Everton.
