Chelsea and one of their current players do not seem to be enjoying the best relationship right now.
In fact, there are probably quite a few players at Chelsea who are not on the same page as their superiors at present.
The Blues’ owners, for example, are yet to sanction a move for Romelu Lukaku, who clearly wants out of the club. Napoli are interested in both Lukaku and Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Chelsea have also frozen out Trevoh Chalobah in a move that has probably destroyed the player’s relationship with the decision-makers at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea and Romelu Lukaku’s tense relationship
With Lukaku yet to be granted a move to Napoli, things could soon get ugly between the striker and Chelsea.
According to Italian outlet Il Mattino, figures at Chelsea are starting to develop a tense relationship with Lukaku, who has become a huge issue for the club.
Their report also claims that Aston Villa were willing to pay €43m (£36.6m) for Lukaku’s signature.
However, his heart looks set on a return to Italy and reunion with Antonio Conte after their time working together at Inter Milan.
Over the weekend, Fabrizio Romano claimed that Napoli would try and sort the Lukaku deal this week.
Romelu Lukaku should consider joining Aston Villa
If Villa are the only viable option for Lukaku, then he has to at least consider it. If the Belgian remains at Chelsea, he is not going to play any football.
Villa are a Champions League side and have a very good manager at the helm in Unai Emery. While his dream may be to return to Italy, Napoli are yet to make an offer Chelsea view as acceptable.
The Villans are also keen on Atletico Madrid’s Joao Felix, though they may end up losing out on him to Chelsea.
Felix would rather join Chelsea than Villa, having already had one spell with the Blues back in the 2022/23 season.
