Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino remains in a job and it does not look like he will be sacked before the end of the season.
Yet several different managers are still being linked to Stamford Bridge.
While nothing may happen now, it is quite possible that Chelsea do decide to part ways with Mauricio Pochettino this summer.
The 2023/24 campaign has been a disaster for the Argentine and his side, who currently sit ninth in the table.
Fans are unlikely to get too excited about one manager’s name. But if Chelsea do want to head in a different direction, perhaps he is someone that the club should consider.

Should Chelsea sack Mauricio Pochettino in the summer?
It really depends on how Chelsea finish this season. If they qualify for the Europa League or win the FA Cup, he deserves to at least start the 2024/25 campaign.
Both things are still possible, with the Blues only six points behind Newcastle United in sixth and in the FA Cup semi-finals.
A bottom-half finish, though, which is also still possible, and Pochettino can have no complaints about being dismissed.
This Chelsea squad is more than good enough to be doing better than that.

Chelsea should consider Eddie Howe
Newcastle boss Eddie Howe should perhaps not be at the top of Chelsea’s list, especially after what happened with Graham Potter.
The 46-year-old could be another gamble. That being said, his work at St James’ Park really cannot be overlooked.
Howe got Newcastle into the Champions League and his side once again sit above Chelsea.
Simon Phillips has claimed on his Substack that Howe is someone who will be considered if Pochettino departs when the campaign concludes.
In an ideal world, Chelsea would go out and hire a world-class manager who has won titles and Champions League trophies. Again, though, with those not being so easy to hire, Howe should at least be a candidate for the Chelsea job should it become available.
