Striker Ivan Toney has taken to social media to interact with Chelsea club captain Reece James.
He took to Instagram to comment on the 23-year-old’s photo, as reports surrounding his future continue to swirl.
Toney is expected to be on the move from Brentford in January, coinciding with when he is allowed to return to competitive football following his ban.

His time in the top flight of England has shown that he has the capabilities to be one of the best goalscorers in the country.
He was the third top scorer last season, only coming behind the sensational campaign’s enjoyed by Erling Haaland and Harry Kane.

There are a number of big sides linked to a move for the English striker, with Arsenal the other side who are reportedly keeping updated on the conditions regarding a potential deal of £80m.
It has not gone unnoticed that Chelsea are running short again when it comes to goals, despite more heavy investment in the frontline.
However, they only signed Nicolas Jackson as a recognised striker who has picked up a habit of getting himself booked as opposed to finding the net.

This has led to reports that they are interested in a number nine, and Toney appears to be top of that list.
The fact that the Brentford man seems to already be good friends with James, who is a huge figure at Stamford Bridge, could put the Blues into good stead when it comes back round to transfer season.
They may also look at the situation developing regarding Victor Osimhen at Napoli, with him seemingly extremely unhappy at the treatment of him in recent weeks.
