Chelsea goalkeeper has shared he’s really comfortable right now under Mauricio Pochettino’s management.

Robert Sanchez, 25, arrived at Stamford Bridge in the summer. The turnaround at the club has even presented him with the opportunity to become Chelsea’s first-choice goalkeeper, too.

The £25million keeper (Sky Sports) has played every single minute so far this season, including in the domestic cup matches. He’s had three clean sheet in eight games in return.

Blue head coach Mauricio Pochettino, who also joined in the summer months, has got behind Sanchez in the early months of the campaign.

It means Djordje Petrovic is patiently waiting on the bench for his chance in-between the sticks.

Sanchez has explained he’s delighted to feel the trust of Pochettino right now from the dugout.

“I’m happy with Chelsea. I found a manager who trusts me very much, I want to do as much as I can to help the team,” Sanchez said, as quoted by London World.

A few question marks are appearing around Sanchez over his distribution, but his general shot-stopping looks impressive and he deserves the No 1 spot for now.

The Spanish goalkeeper sounds like several of his teammates when it comes to feeling the love from Pochettino.

It’s obvious there was far too much inconsistency at the club last season when it came to team selection, with several different individuals in the manager’s dugout struggling to find a settled team. It does feel like Pochettino is slowly starting to establish his favourites, though, with Sanchez settled in net.

Sanchez will go in hunt of his fourth clean sheet of the season when Chelsea travel to Fulham on Monday night in the Premier League.
