Pundit Gary Neville has now shared how he thinks Chelsea can go about the EFL Cup final in order to win the first major silverware of an English trophy.
He told his very own podcast for Sky Sports that he believes that their ability to counter attack that they showed against Manchester City could put them in good stead for the match against Liverpool at Wembley.
Mauricio Pochettino took his side to the Etihad last weekend with the unlikely task of picking up a point or three against the favourites to retain the Premier League title this season.

It was also their last opportunity to make any final tweaks to the system or personnel ahead of the final, and their best opportunity at silverware this season.
The boss will have been buoyed by some of the displays he saw that day, particularly in defence. Both Axel Disasi and Levi Colwill came in for plenty of praise for their performances at the back, and both put their names forward as starters for Sunday.
Neville has now shared what he saw from the Blues at the weekend that makes him think they have a chance of beating Liverpool at Wembley.
Neville on Chelsea vs Liverpool
He said: “Liverpool are favourites next week, let’s be clear. But Chelsea have a real chance. What they showed yesterday is that when a team push up the pitch – which Liverpool do – they can counter-attack and be really dangerous. I think it suits Chelsea.”
If the last meeting between these two sides at this stage of the competition is anything to go by, it is going to be real tense affair between the two elite Premier League sides.
Their opponents could be joining them in being depleted heavily by injuries though, with in-form Diogo Jota set to miss the game after his recent issue.
