Chelsea starting to expect Marc Cucurella to leave this summer
Alonso wanted to keep Fernandez and Cucurella, although it looks as if he may be powerless to Real Madrid’s efforts to sign the midfielder.
It has even been reported that Fernandez has agreed personal terms with the Spanish giants, and wants his future resolved before the World Cup gets underway.

This may well not be it for big sales though. According to Mundo Deportivo, the Blues are starting to acknowledge that Cucurella may depart this summer too.
The Spaniard is at a crossroads when it comes to his contract at Stamford Bridge, with him the elder statesman of the current squad.
Chelsea may feel this is the last summer that they can cash in on him, and there is plenty of interest in his services.

Plenty of Spanish interest in Cucurella
Barcelona, Madrid and Atletico Madrid are all interested in signing Cucurella should he leave the club this summer.
Spain teammate Marc Pubill has publicly said he would love him at Atletico, and his style of play would very much suit Diego Simeone.
For now, his sole focus will be on delivering World Cup glory as part of the Spain squad, after they won the European Championship two years ago.
Cucurella is destined to start after his side failed to beat Iraq in a warmup game where he wasn’t present.
