Reports have claimed that one Chelsea player could now stay at the club despite strong links with a move away at the end of the season.
According to the Mail Online, Thiago Silva may now remain at Stamford Bridge due to both of his sons being part of the academy process.
Silva has remained a crucial player for the Blues this season despite turning 39, with him playing likely even more than manager Mauricio Pochettino expected.

The fact that he has taken such good care of himself up to now in his career has seen his availability be almost perfect this season, while players around him have struggled with injuries.
Wesley Fofana has missed the entire campaign so far, while Benoit Badiashile is still getting back up to speed after an issue he suffered late last season.
Silva’s ability has not gone unnoticed by Pochettino, with the Argentine recently describing him as ‘amazing’ in an interview.
Silva could stay at Chelsea
It was widely claimed that a move away was the likely scenario when this season comes to an end, with a move to Brazil on the cards.
However, it has now been noted that the fact both of his sons, Isago and Iago, are part of the club’s academy could see him remain in one way or another at Stamford Bridge.
It seems as if there are no plans for his playing days to come to an end as of yet, and the fact that he is still regularly the calming influence on the pitch suggests there is no reason why they should.
However, with the Blues linked with a move for a new centre-back as soon as this summer, they may be looking ahead to the future, with young options such as Levi Colwill, Badiashile and Fofana also already looking to nail down a regular place.
