Chelsea have had a number of players reach arguably the highest level they have shown in the Premier League under the new manager.
Enzo Maresca has got the best out of a number of individuals this season, and has stuck by them for strong performances in the league.
Levi Colwill has put his strong showings down to Maresca, with him now featuring regularly in his most natural position of centre-back as apposed to the left of defence.
Pundits are beginning to recognise the brilliance of some of their players, with many supporters believing they are finally starting to get the credit for their performance levels.
One of those is Moises Caicedo, who it is hard to argue has not been the best midfielder in the Premier League this season.

Moises Caicedo statistically the best Premier League midfielder this season
Alan Shearer named Caicedo in his Team of the Season so far, and he looks the first name on the teamsheet for the Blues right now.
Statistics seem to also been in the Ecuador international’s favour too. According to WhoScored, no midfielder has a higher average match rating than Caicedo.
Fellow midfielder Romeo Lavia described Caicedo as ‘amazing’, and may well be ready to partner him in the middle of the park again when the Premier League returns this weekend.
Romeo Lavia vs Enzo Fernandez for starting Chelsea place
The Blues are up against Leicester City, with Maresca returning to his former side for the first time since joining Chelsea.
There were fears that the Belgian had picked up another injury after he withdrew early from international duty with a hamstring complaint.
However, the manager insisted his only injured player was Reece James, meaning the midfielder could well start again in the league.
This would likely see Enzo Fernandez remain on the bench, with him returning late from international duty.
Fernandez impressed for Argentina over the break, and is no doubt pushing to reclaim his regular place in the Chelsea first team.
