Ben Chilwell sent a nine word message to Chelsea teammate Noni Madueke after yesterday’s win over Crystal Palace.
The Blues left it late to secure a much-needed 2-1 victory at home to Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
It looked like the contest at Stamford Bridge was heading for a stalemate, with Michael Olise’s strike before half-time cancelling out Mykhailo Mudryk’s opening goal.
However, Noni Madueke came off the bench to be the hosts’ match-winner.
The 21-year-old Blues winger won his side a penalty after being fouled in the box. He then stepped up to calmly dispatch the spot-kick in the 89th minute.
It means that Chelsea climb back into the top half of the division with three league points.

Ben Chilwell message
Chelsea defender Ben Chilwell, who was missing yet again through injury, uploaded a message to Madueke on his Instagram story last night.
Chilwell posted last night: “Been patient. Worked hard. Won us the game tonight. @NoniMadueke.”
Noni Madueke against Crystal Palace
Madueke’s match-winning contribution off the bench proved just what he can bring to the Chelsea side.
The skilful right-winger hasn’t had much of a look-in this season under Mauricio Pochettino, playing just 10 games across all competitions. However, he’s not sulked and looks a goalscoring threat whenever he steps on the pitch.
Speaking on Amazon Prime Sport’s coverage of Chelsea vs Palace, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink praised Madueke for a penalty kick that left the goalkeeper with “no chance” to save it. He stuttered on his run up for the penalty before guiding it into the bottom left corner.
We’re now intrigued to see if the forward gets any more chances in the upcoming fixtures.
There’s another quick turnaround for Saturday afternoon’s trip to Luton Town in the league, so has Madueke done enough to force his way into Chelsea’s starting XI?
In our view, the England Under-21 international impacts matches with his directness and speed, so should definitely be getting more minutes.
