Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino has received big praise from his opposite number ahead of tomorrow’s game at Stamford Bridge.
Brentford boss Thomas Frank is currently preparing his side for Saturday’s trip to Chelsea in the Premier League.
He’s shown great admiration for the individual who’ll be in the opposite dugout this weekend.
When discussing Mauricio Pochettino, Frank said via Brentford’s X account: “He’s done fantastically his whole coaching career. He knows what it takes to build a club to a high level; you can see them moulding more and more together. They have so much pace on the counters, and we have to stop crosses from the side.”

Chelsea vs Brentford close to call
Chelsea are only two points above Brentford in the Premier League table, so we’re expecting a tight game on Saturday afternoon.
Brentford have won on their previous two visits to Stamford Bridge, which is why they’re likely to arrive with some confidence.
The West London rivals certainly have different pressures on them as a result of vastly different budgets, but there’s plenty of match-winners on display for both sides this weekend.
Chelsea still have a very strong squad versus Brentford despite missing seven players through injury. The Blues confirmed via their official website earlier today that Armando Broja, Trevoh Chalobah, Ben Chilwell, Carney Chukwuemeka, Wesley Fofana, Romeo Lavia and Christopher Nkunku are unavailable with injury problems.
Mauricio Pochettino impact
Chelsea may not have recorded the results they have wanted in the opening months of the season, but you can’t deny that Pochettino’s starting to imprint his style on this group.
The 51-year-old Argentine arrived with a reputation as a great man-manager. From the outside looking in, it seems he’s already worked his magic on a few individuals within the squad.
Chelsea are looking pretty tight defensively in most games. Meanwhile, the attackers are finally starting to pull their weight with more goals.
Let’s hope that he can feel the support and warmth directed his way from the fanbase right now.
