Steve McManaman was not impressed by the demeanour of Chelsea-linked Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele yesterday.
Whilst commentating live for BT Sport on Barca’s Champions League humbling at the hands of Bayern Munich, McManaman didn’t take kindly to Dembele’s attitude.
The France international did very little to prevent his side’s 3-0 defeat in the Allianz Arena last night, which caused the Spaniards to drop out of the competition.

Dembele left alot to be desired
This is the first time the La Liga giants have failed to leave the group stage in this tournament since 2000.
Barca’s display against the German champions was summarised by the conduct of their £96.8m (BBC) attacker; sluggish, unconvincing and almost non-existent.
“He’s so frustrating isn’t he Ousmane Dembele unfortunately,” said McManaman during the Munich massacre of their startled guests.
“(He’s got) all the right attributes.
“Got pace, he can drop a shoulder, but his body language at times is awful when you compare it to Kingsley Coman or Leroy Sane, (who are) so dynamic.”

Not a Tuchel tenant
A review from the former Real Madrid midfielder that will not sit pretty with Chelsea.
According to reports, the Blues are pushing to sign Dembele, whose Barca contract runs out next summer.
The 24-year-old has apparently already told Xavi of his desire to leave the Camp Nou in search of greener pastures.
Sadly, Thomas Tuchel doesn’t take kindly to slackers.

Anyone who is perceived to be dragging their feet will simply not be part of the German’s plans.
If Dembele maintains his slouched expression, then there is no chance of swapping Spanish sunshine for South West London life.
