One of Chelsea’s Premier League rivals have just been dealt a major injury blow.
Chelsea have had a lot of injury problems themselves of late, with the likes of Nicolas Jackson, Noni Madueke and Romeo Lavia all sidelined.
Benoit Badiashile is in training again, but Enzo Maresca‘s squad has been significantly weakened after all of these fitness issues.
Newcastle United, though, have just lost one of their men for the rest of the season.

Lewis Hall ruled out for rest of campaign
Newcastle currently have two Chelsea academy graduates on their books, Lewis Hall and Tino Livramento.
The former would have been looking forward to the Carabao Cup final next Sunday and the game against his former club in May.
However, Hall will now miss both fixtures after Newcastle confirmed that his season is over following a foot injury that requires surgery.
The 20-year-old’s injury is also a blow for England and Thomas Tuchel, who have games against Albania and Latvia this month.
In November, Stuart Pearce spoke about Hall, claiming that he could be the solution to the Three Lions’ left-back issue.
Left-back has become a problem position for England, largely because of Luke Shaw and Ben Chilwell’s inability to stay fit. The latter is healthy again, though, and playing for Crystal Palace. Palace fans were impressed with Chilwell following his performance against Millwall last Saturday.

Lewis Hall helped Newcastle to knock Chelsea out of Carabao Cup
Before reaching the Carabao Cup final, Newcastle beat Chelsea in the fourth round of the competition all the way back in October.
Hall started that night and put in a decent display as the Magpies went on to win the game 2-0.
According to Sofascore, the England international made four clearances and blocked one shot, contributing to his side’s revenge against his former club.
A few days earlier, Maresca’s men had beaten Newcastle 2-1 in the Premier League. Newcastle will also be hoping for revenge in the reverse fixture in May, but they will have to seek it without Hall.
