Andrey Santos will have no regrets about leaving Chelsea for sister club Strasbourg last summer.
There, his development is going extremely well, with Andrey Santos playing every week under Liam Rosenior.
You could understand if Chelsea decided to recall him this month. Enzo Maresca is relying heavily on Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez right now.
Sooner or later, it looks like the midfielder will get his chance with the Chelsea first team.

Andrey Santos set to be part of Chelsea’s 2025/26 squad
There has been a lot of talk about Chelsea potentially signing Kobbie Mainoo from Manchester United.
It has already been claimed that Chelsea are in pole position to land Mainoo if he decides to leave Old Trafford.
Whatever the case, Santos appears to be in their plans for next season. According to The Athletic, Chelsea have earmarked the 20-year-old to be part of their squad for the 2025/26 campaign, which begins in the summer.
Santos could have other options, though, with the same outlet claiming that he has high-profile suitors in Europe following his impressive loan spell at Strasbourg.

What Liam Rosenior has said about Andrey Santos
Chelsea are only really using Strasbourg to develop Santos and the other players they have sent there.
Rosenior will understand that, but the Strasbourg boss will still not want to lose the Brazilian. He has made it clear on more than one occasion that Santos is the model professional.
Speaking to Get French Football News about Santos after one match, Rosenior said: “He was great. He constantly shows professionalism every day in his work, he constantly wants to improve and constantly trains at 100%.
“There were other players that had a worthy cause to be captain but I felt that Andrey was the right choice. I felt that he didn’t do the armband any disservice at all.”
It will certainly be interesting to see what happens with Santos. Chelsea may want to include him in their squad for next season, but the potential arrival of Mainoo could complicate things.
Of course, there is a long way to go before Chelsea get close to signing the England international. It has already been reported that Mainoo would prefer to remain at United than join their Premier League rivals.
