There is plenty of excitement at Chelsea over who they already know they will be adding to their squad in the summer transfer window.

The Blues will be adding Estevao Willian to their first team squad, as well as Kendry Paez, a player they agreed a deal for back in June 2023.

Chelsea see Paez as a ‘super talent’, and the youngster has already established himself as a regular In the senior Ecuador side alongside Moises Caicedo.

Chelsea considering loan for Kendry Paez to Strasbourg

Paez has topped stats previously done so by Lionel Messi and Neymar, and looks set for big things in what will surely be a tremendous career.

While it has been widely claimed Estevao will remain with the Chelsea squad next season, the future is not yet so clear for the Ecuadorian.

However, it has now been claimed that decision makers at Stamford Bridge have already discussed the prospect of a spell away from the club before he is given the chance to make his mark.

According to BBC Sport, a loan move to Strasbourg has been discussed already for Paez, with them reaping the rewards of sending Andrey Santos there already.

The report goes on to say that sources close to the player however believe all options are still open, which would include the prospect of him being a first team player at Chelsea from next season.

Kendry Paez getting criticism in Ecuador

Despite being one of the brightest talents their national team has had in years, recent coverage of Paez has not been so positive.

Ecuadorian media have recently spoken about how Paez has not been as influential recently, perhaps showing why he is currently representing the Under 20s at the South American championships.

He recently lined up against Brazil, where he was outshone by Deivid Washington, who has completed a move to Santos on loan in the January transfer window.
