Chelsea are doing everything they can in order to avoid the injury crisis that they suffered during last season.
The Blues were affected more than anyone last season when it came to the fitness of their first team. At times, there wasn’t even enough fit senior players to name an XI.
This has already threatened to become a serious problem for Enzo Maresca, with him having to get creative in naming the team for the first game back from the international break.
Axel Disasi came in for his first Premier League start of the season, however struggled to impress while filling the right-back position.
His appearance there in the first place was off the back of Malo Gusto being one of those injured, joining club captain Reece James on the treatment table.

Malo Gusto and Romeo Lavia on different Chelsea training plans
Gusto was spotted back in training alongside Romeo Lavia at the start of this week, however the Chelsea 5th Stand App has confirmed that the duo are actually completing modified sessions in order to rebuild fitness.
One of the positive changes at Chelsea has been their approach to dealing with injured players. They seem to be far more keen to wait until they are fully fit rather than rushing them back.
Jadon Sancho was training alone
It was claimed earlier this week that Jadon Sancho was training alone as he continues to build his match fitness.
This is despite him picking up the Man of the Match award for his second half display against Bournemouth at the weekend, assisting the only goal of the game late on.
A start for the former Manchester United man could spell trouble for Pedro Neto and his place in the side.
Chelsea fans have asked for Neto to switch to the right-wing anyway, potentially opening up a chance for Sancho to make his mark as a starter.
