Reports have claimed that Chelsea are considering hiring a manager from a fellow Premier League side to replace Mauricio Pochettino.
According to The Guardian, the Blues are weighing up the possibility of hiring Roberto De Zerbi from Brighton if they are forced to again dip into the managerial market.
De Zerbi has taken his side to new heights since taking over from the stellar job done by Graham Potter before he moved on to Stamford Bridge.

His side now have a great chance to make a real statement in Europe, as they prepare to take on Romelu Lukaku’s Roma side in the next round of the Europa League.
It seems the Italian in charge has made an impression on the elite clubs in Europe, as a number of them prepare to look for a new man in charge.
All of Liverpool, Barcelona and Bayern Munich will definitely be looking for new managers, after already announcing their current ones are set to move on at the end of the campaign.
The latter look set on hiring Xabi Alonso, which would reportedly be a big blow to Behdad Eghbali in particular, who is keen on him making the move to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea considering De Zerbi
Instead, they are reportedly weighing up De Zerbi now for if they decide to replace Pochettino.
It has been claimed that those on the board are currently undecided over what is the best action to take over the Argentine.
He has undoubtedly achieved some impressive results this season though, with one of those coming against De Zerbi’s Brighton.
Despite Conor Gallagher’s red card, the Blues came out with a 3-2 win thanks to a double from Enzo Fernandez.
One advantage De Zerbi may have is the fact he has previous experience working with a number of Chelsea’s key players.
He coached both Moises Caicedo and Levi Colwill in his first season at Brighton, will also has overseen the early stages of Mykhailo Mudryk’s career back in Ukraine.
