Chelsea’s Benoit Badiashile may be fit enough to return from injury in the club’s next game against Newcastle United.
That is according to a report from Football.London.
Benoit Badiashile, 22, has been unavailable with a groin injury for nearly a month.
The young French centre-back has been very unfortunate with injuries so far this season, making only 12 appearances across all competitions so far.
Thankfully, the £35 million defender (Sky Sports) is nearly fit again.

Football.London now claims that Badiashile could return for Chelsea when they host Newcastle on Monday in an important Premier League match.
It is understood that the left-footed centre-half could be fit to play after his month-long absence with a groin problem.
We’re certainly intrigued to see if Blues head coach Mauricio Pochettino throws him straight back into the starting XI.
For the Blues, they desperately need some more Premier League wins because they’re sat 11th in the division table right now. Remarkably, it’s still only a four point gap to West Ham in seventh position.
Benoit Badiashile injury boost
It’s great news that Chelsea will soon have another senior centre-back ready to play, especially if Pochettino sticks with the back three system he deployed in last weekend’s 2-2 draw away to Brentford.
We can picture Badiashile providing an option as either the central or left-sided centre-back in a three-man defence.
Speaking on the Planet Premier League Podcast last month, Cesc Fabregas praised Badiashile for his incredible passing. We don’t think Chelsea fans have seen the best of Badiashile for a little while, but let’s hope he can stay fit for the rest of thes season and finish it strongly.
When he’s on top of his game, Badiashile looks like a towering defender with great physical and technical attributes. Let’s remember he’s still only 22 and does posses a lot of potential.
