Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger was full of praise for Real Madrid ace Karim Benzema ahead of Tuesday’s clash as he will not be alone in dealing with the striker.
It is pretty clear that the France international will be Real Madrid’s biggest attacking threat.
Benzema has had 26 goals in just 37 games for Real Madrid in all competitions this season.
He is by far their most prolific attacker, having scored (21) more than a third of the club’s total goals in La Liga (56).
To put it into perspective, Casemiro has second-most goals in the league at Real Madrid with six goals.
While Rudiger admires Benzema, he insists that tomorrow will not be about him against the striker.

“He is one of the best strikers in the world,” the Chelsea defender told Marca about Benzema.
“A player who has been at Madrid for more than 10 years and who has achieved everything. A top player.
“But I’m not the only one up against him, we’re a team.”

The Germany international also added that he doesn’t mind playing against both roaming strikers like Benzema or target man-type strikers like Atletico Madrid’s Luis Suarez.
“I don’t have a problem with any of them,” he explained.
“I mean, as we play with a back three and I’m on the left, I can push forward without a problem if necessary.
“I can adapt to both circumstances.”
