Chelsea fans are all saying the same thing about ‘world-class’ player they let go after what he did last night

Last night saw Bayern Munich pick up a 4-3 victory over Manchester United in the Champions League.

While the likes of Harry Kane and Leroy Sane were on the scoresheet, the star of the show was undoubtedly Jamal Musiala.

The Germany international was a product of the Chelsea academy process, before the club let him go in 2019 following eight years of service.

The club are already living in regret at letting the likes of Kevin de Bruyne and Mohammed Salah leave too early, although there are already signs that Musiala could be the next ‘world-class’ name on that list.

Chelsea supporters flocked to social media last night to show just how much they think the Blues are going to regret the decision they made four years ago.

Chelsea fans on Musiala

One user tweeted: “Dare I dream Musiala will return to Chelsea one day? The 10 that left and needs to come back.”

Another claimed: “Musiala, Rice & Mount should all be in Chelsea starting eleven, three players who are the best in the world in their position. all three are in the champions league while we’re not even in Europa.”

A third tweeted: “To this day, Musiala is still the only academy player that I was legit annoyed about that Chelsea allowed to leave. Arguably, if not THE real gem of Cobham.”

Chelsea are of course not part of the competition this year, a fact that has already seemed to annoy veteran star Thiago Silva.

If they are to qualify for next year’s addition, they are going to need to turnaround their fortunes in the Premier League quickly, before they fall too far behind.
