Chelsea supporters really liked what they saw from one player in Spain’s 2-1 win against France on Tuesday.

Spain managed to beat France despite going 1-0 down to set up a tie against either England or the Netherlands in the Euro 2024 final.

Randal Kolo Muani gave France the lead before Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal equalised with a sensational goal.

Dani Olmo then put Spain in front for the first time on the night and, ultimately, won the semi-final clash for his side.

It has been claimed that Chelsea are interested in signing Olmo this summer.

Chelsea fans really impressed with Spain star

Understandably, Yamal stole all of the headlines on Tuesday.

Again, the winger scored an incredible goal, while he is still only 16 years of age.

However, Chelsea fans were also impressed with what they saw from Olmo and some are now demanding for the club to sign the RB Leipzig star.

One Chelsea supporter took to X to say: “Olmo is so underrated! Our sporting directors were cooking something. Hopefully we get it done!”

Another fan said: “We should consider Dani Olmo as a LW signing.”

One user posted: “We should sign Dani Olmo now.”

One supporter had a message for co-owner Todd Boehly: “Let’s sign Olmo up please Todd.”

And finally, another Chelsea fan said: “Dani Olmo to Chelsea please.”

Will Chelsea sign Dani Olmo this summer?

Olmo, hailed as an “exceptional” player by Julian Nagelsmann, has really shown his quality at this year’s European Championship.

In five matches, the attacking midfielder has scored three goals and provided two assists.

According to WhoScored, Olmo is also completing 2.8 dribbles per game, which is the highest average in Spain’s squad.

He is a really talented No.10; however, Chelsea already have Cole Palmer and Christopher Nkunku.

If Enzo Maresca decides to play a 4-2-3-1 formation, for example, then the Italian is going to have options for the attacking midfielder role.

It would be a surprise, then, if Chelsea did go on to sign Olmo this summer. That being said, the 26-year-old has played on both flanks in his career, so he should not be an option that they completely take off the table.
